Wow, I can't believe it has been 5 years. It seems that just yesterday Dan, Steve, myself and a few others first play tested ASFOS in a basement, playing from some scribbled notes.

In reality ASFOS is now bigger than Dan could have ever expected. The Yahoo Group has grown in leaps and bound for three years, Star Ranger and other prominent sci-fi sites list ASFOS as the premier rule set and most importantly it is PRINTED! Along the way ASFOS has had vibrant changes and subtle alterations which have all added to its appeal and after everything Steve and I still only have one wish, to see ASFOS become THE ruleset for fleet level space combat.
